The International Journal of Law, Language & Discourse (IJLLD) is an affiliated journal of Multicultural Association of Law and Language. IJLLD is an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural peer-reviewed scholarly journal, integrating academic areas of law, linguistics, discourse analysis, psychology and sociology, presenting articles related to legal issues, review of cases, comments and opinions on legal cases and serving as a practical resource for lawyers, judges, legislators, applied linguists, discourse analysts and those academics who teach the future legal generations.

Maritime English Journal

The Journal is an academic refereed publication providing on-line access to all those involved in the research, teaching, learning and usage of English in the Maritime profession.

The Maritime English Journal studies the structure, development and usage of English inside of this very specialized profession, and in particular, its relationship to and effect on and within standard Englishes. The Journal is an academic refereed publication providing on-line access to all those involved in the research, teaching, learning and usage of English in the Maritime profession.

The Journals are the sister journal to the long established Asian EFL Journal.

Call for papers

Abstracts and full papers will be sent to the Organizing Committee Selected peer-reviewed papers (5000-8000 words) will be invited for publication in 3 special issues in International Journal of Law, Language & Discourse and International Journal of Legal English.

Dates

Abstract submission:  September 15th, 2016 (within 300 words)

Notification of acceptance: Within 5 days

Full paper (6 pages) submission (optional): March 1st, 2017
